Watched Fargo tonight. I'm a big fan of the Coen brother's films since I saw the re-master of Blood Simple last summer. Some of you would recognize some of their more popular films such as The Hudsucker Proxy, The Big Lebowski and of course O Brother, Where art thou?.

I came away from Fargo with that very definite Coen Brothers feeling. The dichotomy of characters is almost biblical in the repercussions they suffer. Which is comforting, to experience these stories from a non-religious angle. It is a classic good vs. evil angle but the forces aren't directly opposed, their actions are. Of course innocent blood is shed, it's realistic. But in the end those committing crimes and being morally vile get what coming to them in what's a fitting and classy way. Very much along the lines of "What a wicked web we weave".

Now this is rad-ass designer clothing. Kinda steep for silk-screens, but you're paying for the art baby.

Went through old journal entries and made some "memories". Believe it or not, I hadn't done that with LJ yet.

So you're cordially invited to take a look.

So I had my first lesson since my teacher came back from Vacation. As I walk in I hear what I think is luscious cello tones. So I think "Oh, Mike Spleit must be home from Germany". Turns out it's Jen's new Viola!! Although Charles Troy, VIII (her old viola) was something to behold.. this new one is just. Wow. She let me try it.. the projection and tone that came out was other-worldly.

Hope you get to keep this new one Jenneferre, you'll do it somethin' right! Now for a name... hmmm.
