La Moustache

So moroccomole wrote today on Ten Great Celebrity Mustaches. This of course brought up my much repressed feelings towards mustaches. When ladies bug me about beards and how they don't like them I need only think about mustaches. I must have been beat up by a giant mustache as a kid or something because I really dislike them. You can put a totally hot dude in a mustache and I'm just not interested.

I know. It's prejudice and wrong. A few of my hipstery friends have, are or will be sporting mustaches at some point in time. And I must admit some of them are quite nice people.

Hot Carl

So funny thing is that Hot Carl, whom I met as an adult via Roller Girls parties, is actually the kid I grew up with in my childhood neighbourhood. His grandma knew my grandparents, my Mom grew up with his Mom, I played Transformers and hide and seek with him and his brother and sister.

And now he twirls fire. Neat!
