The Disappearing Male

It's pretty creepy but with every bottle of unnecessary anti-bacterial dish soap or hand wash we're creating a soup of gender bending endocrine disrupters in our water resources. Men and boys are experiencing "dramatic increases [of] genital deformities, low sperm count, sperm abnormalities and testicular cancer".

This hypothesis is pretty strong amongst scientists with lots of supplementary data showing that we can be pretty sure something is screwing up the hormones that make dudes... dudes. Similarly the same endocrine disrupters mess up menopausal women and often times prevent that process of change in a woman from ending.
