Well. I had a good night last night. Saw "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" with Brendan finally. Love the coriography (sp?), cinematography and costume design. Very impressive although I have to admit, and this is by no means a racist comment but my ability to differentiate people of Asian descent based on facial features is.. lacking. Infact, I can't do it.
Anyhoot, Brendan took a bathroom-break during the movie and met our good buddy Jeff in the hall. Jeff gives the good word that there's a party at Lorenzo's. Yahoo! Headed from 'renzo's to Xanadu (fun bar), Jeff and Nick drop E.. it's all good. Head back to 'renzo's pad, play Tekken 3 'till we all crash like TWA 800 victims.
There was some interesting discussion at the bar. It seems when drunk my buddies love to talk about homosexuality. OK, that's cool I guess. I think I finally got through to them what bears are about. They still sorta think it's like a men's group.. some sort of YMCA get together. I suppose that's close enough for jazz.. but their focus always returns to the promiscuity aspect. *sigh* men.....
