Well, I took my once-per-three-week slut-o-ramaš trip to Toronto. I had an amazing time as usual. Went to the box twice, hung out at the Bear Buddies Toronto 7th anniversary party. We watched classic wrestling and ate a lot at the Graduate Student Union Pub at UofT. A really nice place, great atmosphere.. and amazing music. They played "Bobba Fette" by Mocean Worker. That made me a happy little electro-head.

John bought his new bass. It's a beauty.. and it has a name. Hmmm... I think it needs a birth certificate or some sort of christening. It's a honey sun-burts deal, five strings, solid maple neck and generally 'effing amazing.

I think I'm going to get very serious about this whole "DJ/Producer" thing in the mean time of creating any sort of rock combo/ensemble. I think it'll be useful in teaching myself more about production and generally about music.

And I want the sweet suite sounds of "bear" the bass caressing the whipa-smackin' drum loops and samples. Sound good jb?

This is my idea of a gear list that I need:
No doubt I can rent a PA (no, not that kind) for a gig. I could prolly use the roland XP-30 and the Juno106 for live improv. stuff.
