So a friend of mine has an apperon(sp?) that reads
"What's cookin' Dad?"
I'm the only one who laughs. Then Chris (the "smart" one) figures it out. Rad.

People think my "Bears&Cubs" dog tag is cute. They pick up on the homo-eroticism pretty quickly mostly. They're adapting. She will breed, you'll die.. Although I do introduce it as my "homo chains" once noticed.

Yes, your segue detectors are on "frenzy mode". Frenzy was the best tape-bot that went into soundwave or blaster.

Blaster was one ghetto mofo.

So here I am watching Bob Dylan's satellite-emancipated head singing "things have changed" on the OscarsAcademy Awards in 2001. On a background of black and that wacky van-dyke number he's sporting on his face the only thing that tells me it's "The Man" and not some brazil-esque talking head is his sagging afro-ish hair.

But the music is still good. That still matters.. it's just that it really seems like "the future" right now, if you can imagine. Like a comprimise between Blade Runner and 2001.. only with those garnishings of reality that make it oh-so-believeable. Like the fact that our minds still navigate this excoriated landscape of viscose, two-way mass media that coates our minds like a second skin. I think that's why we come together in tidals of like-mindedness like here on LJ.

And it's the same as it ever was. Only in a new way, again.

"Yes, chocolate chip cookies are the best treatment for a highly excoriated throat."
