Post HECE rehearsal last night I met Bren at The Reptile Store where he works and went out for drinks. We tried all the "classy" bars so he'd get carded but to no avail. It was rainy here in Hamilton last night therefore the patio's at Hess were outta the question. So we went back to Westdale to the Snoot (the Snooty Fox, English style pub) which was brimming with people as the weather was, well, rather British. Renzo, John and Blake were going to a kegger around 12AM but frankly Bren and I decided that'd be a bad scene. And there was a $10 cover for beer we weren't going to drink let alone could humanly stand in the few hours longer we were going to stay out.

It wasn't an easy Saturday morning to wake up to. I had to teach my Violas today for Mrs. Braun. Thank the good lord I got to do a sectional with them in the West Room which at the church is the Youth Group room. Ya know, the sorta place with couches where they listen to Creed, pre-Throwing Copper Live and talk about how great Jesus' love is. Or so their penguin shaped light switch panel said. Long story, never mind.

From the comfort of the couch I got to conduct them in comfort for 1hr. Luckily I didn't even have to open my eyes as the music they're playing I've been doing bi-annually for that orchestra since I was 9.

Now I'm home with the sweet smell of the peach jam Mom's making wafting through the house. I'm going for a snooze.
