See what a repressed childhood will do to you? You start dressing up like up like a super hero as an adult.
"Oh save me geek man!"
"Fear not! I can syncronize my address book between my palm and my cell phone via IrDA"
"The floor's giving waaaayyy.... Ahhhh!"

It costs me $0.104/hr to continue killing myself. That's fuckin' lame. So as of 6AM ET I'm quitting just like
darke.
So now I know where all my money has been going :\ Now if I start taking prozac again I won't be able to drink anymore either. That's a good $20\week (which I haven't had lately ANYHOW) but theorhetically it costs me $150/month to abuse my health.
That's pretty disgusting.

In 24hrs I'll have saved myself just about $2.50. I'll save myself $17.47 in a week. That means $70/month!!So now I know where all my money has been going :\ Now if I start taking prozac again I won't be able to drink anymore either. Statistics
Sep. 25th, 2001 06:06 pmOk, some of you may have got this email forwarded to you before. Some may not. I think it's just really poignant.
If we could shrink the earth's population to a village of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human ratios remaining the same, it would look something like the following, there would beIt just makes ya think what an obscure demograph I must belong to. I mean, we aren't talking about some sort of super-high statistical resolution here. Sexuality, living conditions and location really.
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere
8 Africans
52 would be female
70 would be nonwhite
70 would be non-Christian
11 would be homosexual
6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's wealth, and all 6 would be from the United States
80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death; 1 would be near birth
1 (yes, only 1) would have a college education
1 would own a computer
When one considers our world from such a compressed perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding and education becomes glaringly apparent.
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture, or the pangs of starvation ... you are ahead of 500 million people in the world.
If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death...you are more blessed than three billion people in the world.
If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep...you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still alive and still married... you are very rare, even in the United States and Canada.
If you can read this message, you just received a double blessing in that someone was thinking of you, and furthermore, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.

Sep. 25th, 2001 07:04 pmI will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in. I will not give in.
Ok, I think the craving is gone now.

Sep. 25th, 2001 07:51 pmWithin 30 minutes of quitting smoking, your pulse rate slows down and blood pressure drops toward normal.
Within hours of stopping, the level of carbon monoxide in your blood drops, enabling the blood to carry more oxygen.
Two days after quitting, nerve endings begin to recover and your sense of smell and taste begin to return.
Within 72 hours of quitting, your lungs’ bronchial tubes expand and lung volume increases.
Months after quitting, shortness of breath diminishes.
In the first year, the risk of heart attack attributed to smoking declines for both men and women.
Two to three years after quitting, the risk of heart attack attributed to smoking is virtually gone.
After 10 years, the risk of developing cancer is about the same as for nonsmokers.
Big danke to Ian (
etherlad) for the FYI.
