Is it like written in stone that your belt buckle has to match your watch? 'Cause mine doesn't.

So the performance was terrible. I freaked out a bit. Lots went wrong, and I won't go into detail. Of course I'm being hard on myself I mean the majority of the crowd always enjoys the performance but complacency is not the road to improvement. It's not the road to anything but the same actually. I was told that I was making faces as usual. Basically if I hear something bad happen anywhere in the ensemble (including from myself) I make a fucked up face sub-consciously. It's something I really have to work on.

I still enjoyed myself somewhat. Ian ([livejournal.com profile] etherlad) showed up unexpectedly. He had no idea I was playing the HHS benefit but expected me to be there as his parents work there too. 20% off purchases over $25 baby, how can you go wrong? I didn't buy anything but my Mom picked up lotsa stuff. I think I got a book on beers of Ontario, I tried not to look. I swear.
