Baked potatos

So last night I tried some solid food. Yessire, I was the consumer of one fine baked potato. And it hurt like heck going down, but I wasn't complaining. I've never really not eaten for more than a day or two in my life (and it shows!) so this was definitely a new experience.

Goal: Eating solid food by tomorrow night. My Aunt and Uncle just sold their place in Mt. Pleasant and are moving waaay north to retire. My Aunt Cathy always puts on a killer spread. Lemme make that more comprehensible.

Going up to Mt. Pleasant this Saturday to visit with family at my Aunt & Uncles as they've sold their house and bought a new one up north that they are to retire at. My Aunt Cathy always makes the most increadible spreads so I'm sure my hunger will be satisfied.

I must be better, I'm totally jonesing.

Tweaked a few tunes tonight. Lero06 and my remix of Olson by Les Boardes de Canada. Also the Robotniks s-core mix seems to be sounding the best right now.. starts off light and airy with the wet balance right off the reverb, throws in the drums and brings in the dry on top of it while the pad loop plays out. It's definitely a trance intro but it gets nasty and uncliché afterwards when the bad-ass fuzzed out and decidedly evil glitchy bass pattern comes in and plays reverse and forwards. I'm loving the good/evil vibe that song has.

Just sorta high on mixing right now, this is always the best feeling. When the creative energy just ebbs back and forth between you and your work. Gonna gig this year, I swear. It can happen if I keep this up.

Probably time for bed now.
