What a weekend. Right now I'm absolutely pooped with lots of stuff to do in preparation of a busy week. But I do keep a journal for some reason so I might as well right things down while they're fresh in my mind.

Friday night at Däs Toolbox which I've been to twice in the past two months! I'm like a bar slut now right? Great to see everyone including meeting Derek ([livejournal.com profile] decibal). He's a hottie who certainly can wail, dude could sing over the divas pumping on the 5ive (a club) soundsystem Saturday night. I guess he's called Decibal for a reason. I had trouble holding in the WKRP references but I tried dammit! I tried! Also ran into somebody I'd be chatting with on gay.com with for a while who was visiting from our nation's capital. A very pleasant surpirse.

Fun Fact!: At this point I've now met just under 30% of my LJ friends list.

Chilled chez Breithaupt & Duke in front of Harry Potter and got in a disco nap before hauling frozen ass out to the Dirty Bird where we met up avec Scott & Derek. Continued hauling forzen ass (a theme? Hello entry title!) to 5ive, Toronto's butchest gay dance club. Or is that gayest butch dance club? Danciest gay butch club? Regardless the leather fashion plates were out in full force but I still took off my shirt! Yes, that's right. I took my shirt of in a non-designated fat guy zone! DJ did a really nice mix job of Work It by Missy into some generic house record and back, nice and extended which lets all the queens on the dance floor put their thang down, flip it and reverse it.

Took a long GO-T bus ride home and fixed a friend's printer. I'd reversed the parallel port internally when I built the computer for them. There's things about ATX that are better than AT in practical situations like this. Home now, dreading the week and really tired.

Disco Nouveau
Various - Ghostly International

Found this one in a record shop on queen for $15. Retail vinyl is a rip off generally but dammit I love this record!

Side A
  1. Daniel Wang - Pistol Oderso
  2. DMX Krew Feat. Tracy - Make Me ([livejournal.com profile] plaidninja's favourite song!)
Side B
  1. Ectomorph - Lost Angles (manyangles version)
  2. Lowfish - No Longer Accepting Complaints
This is a case of having downloaded the MP3s and finally picked up the product once I found it and I had the cash. If I had a credit card and could shop online.. well, I'd own more stuff that's for sure. When I do get credit I'm gonna hafta be careful, too many records I want and could get quickly online.

Just need to get the other two records. Or at least the one with the Hong Kong Counterfeit track on it as it rocks my socks off.
