Feeeeeelings

I'm sorry that I made fun of something near and dear to so many people's hearts last night. If it's any consolation I was really drunk.

Being in Scotland makes me surly. Despite my best efforts otherwise I tend to absorb behaviors via osmosis. Seriously, hang out for a weekend with your vegan cat loving Greenpeacers and you'll be speaking just a tiny bit softer, I guarantee. Likewise living with your slightly crazy, surly, half blind and deaf Scotish Dad will make you a tiny bit surly and slightly crazy. If only as an equal and opposite reaction.

So it's time to back up, calm down and be at peace. Sometimes the words that come out of my mouth these days seem like somebody else's. I know this guy too, it's distressed Brodie trying to argue out his feelings of uneasiness. He goes away easily, however.

But it's cool. I close down the restaurant tonight with my cousin Janice managing. Meaning that we can slack a bit and maybe a lot if it's dead tonight.
