Rather good. But I think Apparat is a genius to begin with. Let me count the ways I love rhythmic music that is oriented around conscious processing rather than passive ass shaking. IDM, "Braindance" whatever is always misunderstood though. Mostly because it is inevitably surrounding by pretenscious dorks such as myself. But it is also very valuable and not yet entirely raped by the dominant culture. Which is rare these days.
Oh and like a total newb I was telling people that the previously uncredited "Collapse of the Wave Function" on Rephlex was an Aphex Twin record. When, duh, it was actually Ed Dmx who probably thought himself pretty smart using Aphex Twin's known penchant for pseudonyms to hype his work. Which I haven't yet seen in a single store or been able to snag off slsk.
