TV, Work, Remote Feelings

Summer doldrums and 50% everything at work. I spend most of my time playing tetris, listening to old lonely ladies and podcasts. Occasionally I take it upon my self to take plants that are not suitable for sale, old pots and re-pot them for sale. You'd be amazed at the shit people buy. Coriander, Rue, Basil and English Lavender goes from compost fodder to post Hanging Herb Basket in minutes. By my calculations I've made about $39 in gross profit from what was essentially junk. In my spare time at my boring job. It makes one wonder what could be done with some actual effort.
I'm being trained as an attendant for the self-shearing sheep checkout. This is good news as the work largely orients itself around teaching than manual labour. My mildly unionized grocery job will serve me well when school starts in September.
Terrorism.
I refuse to give the joy of recognition. Terribleness is a fact of life and what we value as the most terrible is power in the hands of others. Malaria, cancer, preventable childhood illness and AIDS are all terrible. I'm not sure if this is cynicism or stoicism. But there will be no exchange of harsh words. Just an uncompromising spirit to continue on.
