I'm a lazy blogger lately.

Victoria Day was a few weeks ago. It's when Canadians and other British Commonwealth Citizens get drunk and light firecrackers, sparklers, burning school houses etc. It's a common tradition through-out the world really it just has different names and different unobserved pretenses.

It was cold but I spent my time around the BBQ and eating. I discovered the difference between $9 and $0 home brew wine is about $9 and worth the investment. Also I took some long exposure photos.

This is Huw and I getting ready for the James North Art Crawl a few weeks ago. I still had that horrible haircut. Ugh. I paid $15 for that. You can see that wave that grows in my hair when it gets over about an inch long that makes me look like the long lost bearded Tootie from The Facts of Life.

Also, rejoice fags, my moustache is back.

Kitchen + Weekend

Spent my whole weekend painting my room at the new house in addition to working and getting my party on. My friend John helped out. After Jen, Jon and Ed (of xtube fame) came by and we had pizza beers. More beers ensued.

Everyone except John (not Jon) and I went home and we went and saw LAL. Whom are so multi-diverse minority pro-immigrant pan-cultural that they poop out arts grants. Their music was enjoyable with liquor and I tried to dance but I'm not really into the chilled squeaky South Asian jazz girl thing all that much. It's too wa-wa-le-la-la-lo re-fu-gee jazz warm-up vocal excercise. Think MIA without the video games or energy. Their bass and laptop players were amazing proficient however. The drummer sat in front of a bunch of ethnic instruments but I'm not sure he actually made much noise.

This picture is of how I want to paint the kitchen at the new house. I think the whole 60s teak and luxury jewel tone thing will totally work with another warm jewel-ish tone on the wall above.

I Made a Mistake

Hey gays. Sorry I ruined your internet this morning. I fixed the auto-playing thingy I posted by mistake. The reason I didn't notice is that I block flash on LJ by default so nothing on here auto-plays ever.

Tomorrow I will make everyone internet bacon and eggs and give them internet back massages to make up for it. I'm not sure how I can accomplish that but I'll think really hard about it today.
