Dad got a job. He leaves tomorrow evening. He's working two weeks on/two weeks off on the english channel. He wants me to go visit France with him this summer, I think he's getting a little ahead of himself.

Oh yeah, I'll take him up on it WHEN the time comes. But it's just so like him "Hey I got a job let's plan a vacation!". I'm sure there's lotsa sexy guys and nude beaches in France. Oh and Wine, Cheese, Daft Punk, Laurent Garnier.. yum!

Ok, it's a little more appealing now.

Yeah, Dad represents a lot.. but just tends not to actually produce much. Like the apple tree in the back yard that never really blooms. My optimism that it will bear fruit, so to speak, get's in the way of the facts. It is barren, fruitless.
