Yeah, I've heard of this practice. But never quite so blatant. Apple went as far as to put debug code in their new Safari browser that lets you change the HTTP protocol headers to another user agent ID (MSIE6, for example). This makes it *much* easier for testers to identify whether it's the browser or the web server that's broken.
