Freudian Projection

The externalisation of internal unconscious wishes, desires or emotions on to other people. So, for example, someone who feels subconsciously that they have a powerful latent homosexual drive may not acknowledge this consciously, but it may show in their readiness to suspect others of being homosexual.

I suspect people all the time of being homosexual. So, the statement definitely works for me, besides the fact that I'm not really "latent." *shrugs*

Why do I want to be like Bluto Blutarski in "Animal House" take that instrument out of his hands and smash it into little pieces, hand the damage back to him and say "Sorry. Had to."?

The phrase that came to my mind was "Don't quit your day job." Even (or in this case, especially) if his day job is school.

I've heard of not being able to carry a tune in a bucket. In his case it would be not being able to carry a tune in a 40-gallon drum. ;-)
