I invite you all to read my old journal updated regularly from about Sept, 1999 to about October 2000. It includes the day I came out.

I want to amalgamate all the scribble, blogger and livejournal entries into one copy. I wish I could get lj2mt to work. I'm missing the XML::Node Perl module, I don't have root access to the newelement server and I'm no unix guru. Infact I barely scrape by 9/10 times and clap my hands with glee each time I pipe a command.

That is all, carry on with your peity lives! *flicks wrist disapprovingly*

I thought you came out some time before that. As I recall, there was a period of a week or two between when you told me/Martin/Paul, and when you told your mom.

It certainly provides for an interesting contrast in comparison to your current journal. Were you a senior in highschool then? I graduated in summer of 99.

Did your entry on coming out reflect more of a /coming out is so cliche/ attitude, or rather that your feelings post-coming out were the "cliche" norm?

That's a good point. Ok, now I remember. I came out to you guys right before I went to IMC that year and came out to Mom afterwards.

It was definitely a comment on my feelings being the cliché norm. I was so relieved, it was incredible.

Damn.

I tried to access my old journal (http://arawn.scribble.nu), but it says I need to pay to gain access or some crap.

Yeah *grin* I remember being there...my husband's lover just came out to his mom last night, at the tender age of 19, and experienced those same tired and true cliches himself. It was great.

collected comments to random old posts....
