What you need is a sugar daddy to buy stuff for you.

Bah, no thanks. My love don't cost a thing.

Yay! Finally a musical reference from you I recognize!

(But it's also one that causes me to lose respect for you!) :D

That is the most annoying website EVER!

Is their web site intentionally unuseable, or are they going for Microsoft-style frustrate-the-user chic?

I dunno, I think their usability is fine. But then again thinking in unfamiliar ways drives the majority of people nuts.

Hmm. They seem to be doing stupid browser-specific tricks. I can view the unisex fashions content okay in Windows IE (albeit with an annoying UI) but I get this delightful content in Safari:

Warning : Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /kl/tdr/docroot/index.php on line 19

Warning : MySQL Connection Failed: Lost connection to MySQL server during query in /kl/tdr/docroot/index.php on line 19

Warning : Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) in /kl/tdr/docroot/index.php on line 20

[etc.]

The work of clueless teenage boho-geeks, or high-priced professional web designers? Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference.

Naw, The Designer's Republic are just really popular and the info that they've got new art comming out is overloading their mysql server. It's more possible that Safari's handling of http isn't so hot so it's giving up before waiting for the tardy mysql server to respond.

Way to go hating on the design nerds ;) I know the field is full of hacks but these guys actually do know their shit.

Credit Card?

I think you need the "sissy" poster for your room.

The web site is an unusable piece of shit. It's like they haven't taken basic classes in interface design. It looks pretty, but it's obvious that they value form over function.

Those were messages spewed out by the web server, so Safari didn't have anything to do with it.

Yes, the six-pixel heigh monocoloured squares that they use for selecting products are very well designed.
