nfotxnWelp, happy coming out day. I thought I'd try and come out to some of my extended famiyl here in Britian but frankly I don't know them well enough yet... and there's some big soccer game on today. I think I read somewhere that ruining family events (football games here are a family event) is a really bad idea. Anyhow, with that rationalized into oblivion I can go on living a lie. Not really however, I'm out to Dad and I assume he's told everyone. I mean I haven't had a single How Is Your Heterosexuality Today Question yet such as "Any pretty lasses back home?" etc. It's possible that Dad has forgot however so I use simple little reminds in casual conversation. Such as today in the Mark's & Spencers where directly in front of the escalator is the Lingerie dept. positioned such that the models rise up like sexual fantasies as you ascend upwards:
Work is going really well so far. It's really hard work because our store is highly understaffed. So really I do the work of 2-3 people most days which leaves me dead tired when I get home. I spent today restocking the freezers which was a nice workout. I can understand my manager's thinking "Hey, we have a big burly canuck.. stick him in the stock room lifting heavy things!" Which really I don't object to... just so tired.
Treated myself to a Frappucino today and was also treated to a cute young man who kept getting up to hear if the bar was calling in his coffee. Each time his pants would plumber down revealing a rather furry view. My kingdom for one of those camera cell phones. Not that a grainy 640x480 jpeg is necessarily worth it but the ability to look as if you're writing a text or playing Snake while you photograph somebody's ass definitely is.
