Freaky Folk 3 - Bit Torrent Edition

So this is an experiment. I'm trying out a Bittorrent tracker in order to offload bandwidth from my server and make my mixes more publicly available. If this is successful I'm going to upload Electrogays, Freaky Folk 1-2 and more new stuff more often so people can grab what they'd like when they want.

Also there is an RSS feed for all of those using a Podcasting or RSS Aggregator to automatically sync things to their library. Dunno how well most clients work with encapsulated torrent files. But the point of this exercise is to try out some new technologies.

Yeah, it will be slow to start. But as more people join the "torrent" ought to speed up.

I'm really impressed how well the torrent seems to be working. Some people are flaking out and leaving before it's done. But generally the bandwidth is really flowing. Free bandwidth... it's a socialism.. we're internet commies!

i think because i'm downloading through a university network they have somehow blocked torrent downloading to save bandwidth....or, uh--something.
