One last thing: OUCH
Aug. 16th, 2001 10:34 pmSweet mother mary my fore-arms hurt. I play instruments and type incessantly so I've always been prone to repetitive stress injuries but lord-a-leapin' I can't even bar a power chord without whatever muscles connected to whatever tendon in my fore-arm cramping like a sonofabitch.
It's probably 'cause I've actually been practicing viola lately, given my pending audition for placement at IMC.
Does anyone know any excercises or anything to relieve the tension?

There was a set of arm, wrist, and finger stretches I used to do when I was contrabassing daily, it helps immensely. It reduces much of the fatigue that your muscles and tendons go through during extended periods of exertion.
