If I think there's one thing we should all keep fore-front in our minds right now and that is that we have all had an unusually emotional week. I doubt there's one person here on LJ who is unaffected in some way by 9/11/01. Now there's been some harsh dialog in and about our journals, and that's good. Good? Yes, we've all got some strong feelings that need to find escape before they do some emotional scarring.

Now what I'd like to ask of all of you is not to hold grudges unless you really see it as necessary. People are going to freak out and be more reactionary than usual for a while yet. I know that's the way I feel. But I think it would be most tragic to us all if we let this week's terror breakup our friendships. It should be quite the opposite.

Peace. And I'm not trying to be dogmatic but I'm hoping by pointing this out we can avoid some nastiness.

What I am about to say is not bullshit, but totally heartfelt.

I think you are the most mature guy your age I know.

I'm sure that made you roll your eyes, but when someone points something out about you, you admit it if you think it was out of line. You're peace-oriented and friendly and down to earth.

They should bottle you and sell you to just about everyone else in my life right now.

Thanks, I didn't roll my eyes I was actually rather flattered. I'm not sure everyone would agree with you, I can be an immature little prick. Trust me, talk to my friends. Sometimes I do have my shining momments though.
