New Chemical Bros. Singles
Oct. 18th, 2001 09:44 pmI just have to say that the new Chemical Brothers is going to take a lot of getting used to. If any of you have listened to a lot of the chem bros records before (especially bootlegs and remixes) you'd agree that they were starting to get a little cliché. They had sounds and techniques that worked but frankly surrender and dig your own hole aren't exactly worlds apart.
The new stuff definitely is. It's very influenced by the South American house sounds a la Ian Pooley. But still has your electro-bankin' knob twiddling noises that the Bros are pretty notorious for popularizing.
I dunno what to think of it. But I can't wait for the new album. Which is still a bit off.
