Woke up late after a fun night hanging with the westdale crew at Renzo's friday night. Bought some steam whistle to the gatherin', a very fun microbrew from Toronto. Brewed at The Roundhouse, an old train station right downtown. Saw Autechre there when Confield came out. Can we say 74 minutes of vaguely percussive noise? I knew you could!
Got around to going shopping. Picked up a super-fabulous bag at Eddiebauer for $40CDN. It lists $58USD on the website, so I'm thinking I got a good deal. Fits all my stuff real well, much better than the utilitarian chic (but not functioning) Roots sling pack in Homosexual Orange™ that I've grown to hate. There's $85 I'd like back. Word to the wise, chest hair and sling pack straps don't mix. It chafes like a bitch and the sweating in the summer! UGH. No good.

tootired) suggested we get out of the house and take advantage of the movie theatre around the street. Saw "The Shipping News" which was a pretty darn good flick. I won't review it now, but I would suggest seeing it.
