Finally opened myself a new account with CIBC. I was leary, my last bank was RBC which totally sucked. They kept trying to sell me on services that, as a mostly-student, I don't really need. The CIBC was great though, Voulva (my personal bank representative) even beamed her info with her palm into mine in addition to giving me her card. Neato! My monthly services are only $4/mo for lots of perks like over-draft protection, lotsa transactions and phone and internet banking. Woo, a good banking experience. A first for me.
So I decided to go The Beat Goes On, the local new/used CD shop to test out my little bit of plastic freedom. Picked up The Lo-Fidelity Allstars - How to overerate on a blown mind ($9) and Tetsu Inoue - Waterloo Terminal ($12). Two good finds I must say. I sorta owed the Lo-Fi's album as I've had an enjoyed all the MP3's for a while. Same vein as underworld, and I love underworld I do I do. I was most hyped about the Tetsu Inoue album, but much to my disappointment there was some generic rock album in the case instead! AGH! I'll go tomorrow and sort it out. Still, for $24 I scored two great albums, tentatively :P.
Yuck, much to do tomorrow. I think I might have my computer fixed soon, it's seeming more likely the new power supply I bought was a lemon and/or incompatible with my old(er) Asus Slot-A board.
Gosh I'm tired, that means I'll be up to 3AM. Ugh.
