Went out tonight with the crew to site C, which is what we affectually call the place where all my highschool buddies and I go and have campfires, drink and sing songs. It's sorta surreal as in Hamilton, even though it's self-titled "steel town", there's still a lot of green space. So we struck out, cases of beer and camping gear to go break public by-law. Helicopters fly over the bay rushing patients to and from McMaster Medical centre over the calm waters of Cootes Paradise but over our heads on the shore first. Chris and I attempted an acapella version of Aphex Twin's "come to daddy".. I'm sure we just sounded like incoherant drunks.
But I still want to leave Hamilton as soon as I can. I'm going to discuss my choices for school with Mom on Monday when she gets back from NS. I have an idea of what I want to do. It's time to get things done once and for all. I have the maturity and conviction now.
