Mental Health is Good for Me and You

Pet Peeve: People who maintain only shallow relationships with people. Is it unusual that I really don't ever meaninfully use the term "TMI"? If my friend is at home sick with a cryptosporidium infection because he rimmed some dude's ass.. I wanna know! No because I'm some sick bastard (well...) but because maintaining completely honest relationships is just so mutually beneficial. Sure there are times we need to be united by haircuts

Ya know I feel really dumb writing this shit down. It's so fundamental in respectfully dealing with people. I guess that one some level I'm hoping people agree with me and I'm not from another planet? 'Cause it feels like that sometimes.

Ever have the feeling you've suddently walked into an alternate dimension? Like today, I go to the convience store near the pharmacy and am faced with a really odd situation. There's an asian man in a track suit listening to Polka. "Fine" I think, as Polka has got to have fans. I see him doing squats with the beat in the corner of my eye as I operate the ATM.

Some whirring, clicking and a $1.50 transaction fee later I notice a small door about the right size for an Oompa Loompa behind which I spy some rather kinky looking adult videos, especially for up here in Suberia. I buy my milk, butter and bread and wish the man a good day. Maybe it's my acclimatization to the sterile and predictable layout of 7-11's trans-globally but this struck me as sorta unusual.

The interview went strangely. They wanted me to be a baker because, you see, I am not a slutty girl with an attitude and ergo cannot work storefront. Anyhow, I need to phone in my reference's phone number. I find this a preturbing amount of work for a job I'm pretty positive I'll dislike (bad people + bad atmosphere = unhappy Brodie) but then I think of people in third world countries and whatnot and straighten-up my act.

And yeah, complaining about the weather is pretty futile but what the fuck? It's nearly mid-March and we're still getting buckets of snow! *vents like a spaceship landing on the surface of an alien world*
