Pet Peeve: People who maintain only shallow relationships with people. Is it unusual that I really don't ever meaninfully use the term "TMI"? If my friend is at home sick with a cryptosporidium infection because he rimmed some dude's ass.. I wanna know! No because I'm some sick bastard (well...) but because maintaining completely honest relationships is just so mutually beneficial. Sure there are times we need to be united by haircuts

Ya know I feel really dumb writing this shit down. It's so fundamental in respectfully dealing with people. I guess that one some level I'm hoping people agree with me and I'm not from another planet? 'Cause it feels like that sometimes.

Gonna go fill my script tomorrow.

I've never used TMI, w00t or any of that other shit people come up with. Damn, I'm feeling crotchety.

Unfortunately as a geek I am partial to w00t.

What IS "w00t" exactly?

I've always seen it used in place of "yay!" or "hurrah!" or "yatta!" ^_^

I dont' mind hearing that kind of thing from people either. In fact, I usually say strange things to my friends, but they are my friend so it's ok to say such things.
OT: I got a mock EEG in psych class today... it was fun..

Now this I have a hard time with : You've never ever ever ever EVER been told something that you really just could have been better off not knowing?
It's almost always been the case where I'm kidding too, but there IS that coworker of mine who kept telling me about all her vagina and things she'd try so her boyfriend'd want to fuck her. Yeah, to me it was really TMI. :: laugh ::

Brodie was talking about friends, not co-workers.

in this particualar case. . I WANT TMI. As a 'brother' to this person and to the community, I would WANT to know this information. so, like you.. no TMI.

TMI is when you hear about your grandparents doin' it on the kitchen table. THATS TMI.

......doing it on the table, not a problem for me. I was thinking that TMI is when you find out that your grandmother likes taking it up the ass and you realize that you share a common interest and this is bond you never wanted in the first place.

TMI = i don't care
i, too, like getting to know every aspect of a friend's life, whether it be winning the lottery or having the skin coming off of his scrotum, so long as (s)he is willing to tell me. after all, revealing "too much" shows trust...

yeah i don't use the term tmi. i always figure it was worth knowing if someone wanted to share. i kind of get offended when just because someone else shares something with me, doesn't give them the right to ask me about my stuff.

You're a good man. And I agree with you.

TMI? Depends....

To me, TMI is finding out that you had several hot and heavy one-nighters with your boyfriend, his brother(s), their father, and any other male relative...at the same time...

I really would not like to know that about someone...unless of course it might be one of those contrived situations one might see in a porn flick.....with no script, of course.
