Sunday was good fun. I went out with Paul [livejournal.com profile] zer0ith and ended up in Guelph to help my friend Martin's finacé Lindsey buy a Palm. We ended up with a Clié SJ30 which has a high-res colour screen and came in at just under $300CAD. I got to spend some time with the couple-to-be (*barf* and I know they'd hurl at the phrase too), had some Indian food and walked around downtown Guelph which is quite pretty. *Ahem* and I quote:
"The City of Guelph is a vibrant community of over 100,000 people located in the heart of southern Ontario, just 100km west of Toronto. With one of the premier research universities, and a diverse variety of manufacturing, service, and high technology enterprises, it's also one of the fastest growing economic regions in Canada."
Right now I'd sell my kingdom for a digital camera that didn't stink, but it's not in the books for a while.

This Wednesday is the first night of "Futur*Sonic" at The Underground. Microbunny of King Cobb Steelie fame will be headlining as well as Inclination and Slo-Fi Spirit Wave whom I have no idea about. For a $5 cover with a free CD it sounds like a plan to me.

Shaved my head today! Below is the obligatory ego gratification.

Got the link off slashdot, thought they were definitely worth sharing.

Zero Db is actually a collaboration between Neil Combstock (aka Frank de Jojo) and Chris Vogado (aka The Vogado Projects).

This is good to know, before I thought Zero Db was this anonymous entity that happened to make a few really good records.
