First off, I wanted to thank you for being a member. I also wanted to
let you know that your membership expires on 1999-02-27.

Well, as long as I don't use a time-machine or time starts going backwards (again!) my LJ account will stay active. I thinks there's a screwed up form mailer script somewhere.

It happened last night, while the world was unconscious. Supposedly, LJ was down because it automatically sent this message to most everyone...thought I didn't receive one.

By 7 AM local time, the service was back up, and running at its usual 56% high performance level. :-)

It's a known problem, and should be fixed - they're writing scripts now to properly expire old accounts, and they're acting funny. They should be brought back from a backup, and nothing lost.
