Yuck, I feel.. impotent. All my software for layin' down fat tracks *coughhardlycough* is on the broken box along with a good 3gb of samples (only about 200 samples phased and tweaked by me. Rest is royalty free or royalty paid stuff).. Know what'd rock? A palm app that can just sequence different pitched beeps and export the patterns as midi to be imported into whatever software and then assigned samples and more detailed performance data (velocity, after touch, delay/reverb other FX etc). I'd be all about laying down patterns on the bus home. Heck, it'd even be fun to leave the sounds as is for that über low-fi sound.But I don't even know if palm hardware has any polyphony.
