Oh score!

So I did some grocery shoppin' for Mom, of course on the way I stopped by The Beat Goes On to check for new electronic albums. Now, it's not often you find Underworld albums new let alone in a used store. There, before my saucer sized eyes, was the original Pearl's Girl EP for $8! I've seen the reissue on SALE for $24 and this is the orignal on Wax Trax!™ complete with the mailing list subscription card. Now, a big deal with small electronic labels is mailing lists. They're tons of fun and usually contain lotsa info that you can't get online plus a catalog. Sweet!

Also picked up Photek: Risc vs. Reward. Yeah, RISC like Reduced Instruction Set Computing. Contains the seminal D&B track "Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu".

So, it's not like I got a lot of music I don't already have, but it's the real deal to help fortify my collection.

Yay!

There is the new Oliver Ho album that I plan to pick up but it's techno...
I'm not to keen on underworld anymore..but I used to buy a lot of stuff when I was a rave addict..er.
I don't really buy music anymore and I don't have a fast connection so life stinks...
I've taken up the hobby of listening to audio clips from records I want like all of Surgeons stuff! He's amazing and he apparently has earned the title for 'Most forward thinking techno.'
ah, check out www.dj-surgeon.com
I've also been listening to a lot of unattainable stuff by adam bayer who produces really nice tracks.
All in all I guess I dream for music rather than actually get my hands on it!!!!

That's ok. Oliver Ho live tonight in boston. Wooo
