Oh yeah, and my parakeets are laying eggs. We have a nesting box in place now. The last clutch was discarded on the bottom of the cage as the first day we removed the box she laid them. It's back now, and they're still checking it out. Lotsa work, but it'd be neat to have baby budgies.

so, wait, you had *truoble* getting them to breed?
I used to have a mated pair of cockatiels, the person we got them from said they woudln't breed without a box.
Their three children followed soon after.

Well enjoy, baby birds are cute, in a tragically ugly sort of way.
