Feb. 19th, 2002 04:15 amJust out of idle curiosity I often like to figure what architypial gay male I am. I'm noticing that my preference in men really isn't written in stone as it's my belief that anything can be eroticised. It just depends on the influencial factors in your life as to what you choose first.
At the heart of my sexual ideal is always facial hair. It's prescense seems to transcend preference into requirement. Without it things seem.. incorrect. There's a multitude of reasons I can hypothesize such as residual denial of sexuallity with the beard functioning as re-enforcement of masculinity. And of course some sort of strange homo-freudian theory, as many figures of masculinity in my life had beards.
And then everybody exploded.

Sometimes it feels as if the future doesn't include facial hair, like we're these primative anachronisms eroticizing a trait marked for evolutionary phase-out by darwin himself.
