So Richard D. James (aka. Aphex Twin) didn't win best Male Solo act at the 2002 brits. Robbie Williams did. Not shit eh? Robbie also won last year and in 1999. What's up with that?

Robbie Williams is still making music?

Last I heard was that inane Millennium song, which I hated the first time I heard it.

Can you say "rigged?"

Robbie's kinda like Kylie in that he's never managed to cross over into the North American market. He hasn't been around quite as long, though. (Have North Americans even heard of Take That? Consider yourselves lucky if you haven't.)

I can't say I'm a fan, but I hear that Swing When You're Winning (his collection of jazz covers) was quite good. It had that duet with Nicole Kidman, which went to number 1 in Britain, and it was even arranged by the same guy who arranged the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.

Oh. And like Kylie, Robbie Williams is one of those artists whose success can be blamed on gay men.

Robbie is the best. Stop all your nonsense and realize he's perfect pop.

"No Rock DJ's" was a fucking brilliant video. Robbie is perfect pop. Richard D James is great, but he isn't for the masses -- which the Brit Awards cater to.

His success can be blamed on gay men -- but not this one.
