I saw Ghost World today with some friends, really neat movie. I was told by someone that I reminded them of Enid and I have to agree. Although I feel as if I'm like post-movie Enid at this point. All-in-all I loved the pulp feel of the movie and heart wrenching performances, it really sums up the awkward feeling of the comic. Which I've only read in passing, it always seemed like a girl's comic ;)

Of course, let's not forget the character of Doug.

Nothing funnier than that asshole, especially when you see people like him existing in parking lots of convenience stores all across the continent.

Yeah, he was one of the more interesting architypes amongst the cast but I gotta say that out of all the perfomances his was the most over-the-top. Which I don't think was the goal. So, I say it was poorly acted. Norman was cool too.
