Mar. 3rd, 2002 09:03 pmBroadcasting a variety of goodness tonight.
56kbps mono mp3. If I'm not in the directory, refresh. It'll come back. Had to restart the broadcast and wait for the shoutcast directory server to touch the streaming server again. If you got any questions or requests press "chat" and then type "/join #nfotxn". Or fire-up your IRC client of choice and connect to irc.landoleet.org

Date: 2002-03-03 08:04 pm (UTC)I just find myself balancing the fine ledge between wanting to set it up, and being too sick of server crap after work to muss with it :)
For now I'll just listen to your stuff ;)
(thanks for the link)

Date: 2002-03-03 08:11 pm (UTC)Oh, the one down fall of the on-demand streaming is that all your content need be in one directory without and subdirectories *barf*

Date: 2002-03-03 08:14 pm (UTC)There's a guy that I play EQ with that does broadcasts like this, but he actually talks between every few songs, which is vaguely odd. He plays GWAR. You are much more tame when compared ;)
I actually have looked up more bands because of your broadcasts and "listening to" lines in LJ, than any other person. It's turned me on to some music I may never have heard. DNTEL comes to mind. I nabbed a bunch of stuff off soul seek. (Is that service perm. down, btw? I was just starting to get to like it :P )

Date: 2002-03-03 08:21 pm (UTC)Dntel ("Din-Tel") is some fantastic stuff, I really like the concept of indie vocals on top of IDM/Braindance music. Most electronic has crazy polished divas (Branvan 3k/Bassment Jaxx) and celebrities (Chemical Bros). And the music is really beautiful, specifically "Last Songs" and "Anywhere, Anyone". Stuff you can really look past it being electronic and just as a beautiful sound.
