I'd almost swear that was a blatant cry for attention on a page like this...

but it's a good question and certainly deserves an answer.

On one hand,
I'd suspect that a beard, masks half a face to allow us to see
or imagine a new stranger in a beard as our fantasy ideal or father figure.

On the other, (if I can get it outta my pants)

Ok, it's the closest I've got to comment whoring in a long time. But I'd been all day (7am-11pm) at the strings festival so I wasn't up to a big entry.

All day I was cruising the Hamilton Place crew 'cause they're all rather burly and bearded. And of course I ended up asking myself "why?". I mean, these guys were pretty... but they didn't really seem like la creme de la creme in anything other than rugged mildly in shape and furry good looks.

I could go on, but I think I have the matter intermittantly resolved.

I guess I'll have to be different. I love goatees on a guy, but when it comes to beards... most of the time they don't do too much for me. Some guys look good in them, but they have to be close trimmed ones to interest me.

Funny how contradictory things are between the sexes, huh? Hair on girls is a big fauxpas. And most girls I know like their men clean-shaven. While I am not a fan of facial hair per se, I absolutely LOVE the 2/3 day stubble. Now THAT is bloody rugged and sexy.
