Pay attention to the bus

This is my spot on at the bus stop on Balmoral.
I can do anything here
and I do
because I have to wait.

I can make the concrete move
as most as if a river of molten lava was below it's surface
and the earth rotate the other way for a few seconds.
Just momments away from dropping my viola case
and grabbing the route 5 pole.

Thank god I can make out the distance with my ears and eyes.
Thrown back literally this time
Not by gravity
or lack there of.
But by the shiny glass of a beligerant door.
