I dislike the implication that interest in dance/experimental music is synonymous with hard drug use. Or drug use at all for that matter.

It just isn't. I'm sure there's a lot of people who under the influence feel they're able to better understand and enjoy it.

Sucks to be them.

I think it's more like this
dance music is fun
and dancing to dance music is fun
and drugs are fun too
drugs make dancing to dance music easier and more fun

Naw, not as such. Yeah, moderate drug use for a heightened dancing experience can be fun. Not my think lately, but I appreciate it. I'm talking about couch sessions. To take the wine and chicken metaphor further, I think I'm a chicken without the wine kinda guy. And even the wine can kill ya.

I tend to agree with this. I listen to a lot of dance music. Techno mainly. I don't do drugs to enjoy it, But it is fun to do drugs and then dance as well :P staying sort of on topic...I was asked by someone at work if I could, "...Bust a move..." Apparently they think I dance really well. hehehe suckers.
