May. 4th, 2002 12:09 amSpiderman was my hero. Spiderman IS my hero.
That movie was fantastic. It just made me feel so good. Right on the money, just the same way I imagined the characters on the stage in my head when I read the comics.
And I've read a lot of Spiderman comics.

Well, I've read them
Date: 2002-05-03 09:56 pm (UTC)Boy, you sure know how to make a bear feel old. I graduated Highschool when you were 4 months old. I'm old enough to be your daddy. Eeeks! :o)
I'm seeing it tomorrow morning at 10am, Saturday morning cartoon time. :o)
It had to be said...

Date: 2002-05-04 07:07 am (UTC)I tend to boycott big blockbuster-type movies during their opening weekends. I don't deal well with crowds.
As KJ said, I *HAD* no intention of seeing this flick, until I read Susan Stark's review of it. I've found that Susan and I have EXTREMELY similar tastes in movies, and I totally dig Tobey Maguire as an actor. I didn't know he (Tobey) was involved in this project (yes, I do live under a rock at times).
Given Susan's review, this is now one that I definitely want to see (once the crowds die down).
