Ya see, Star Wars is just a big propaganda film. Ya see, The Empire are the good guys!.
June always shapes up to be an amazing month for music. You've got yourNXNE and your Queens of the Stoneage /w Dave Grohl and let's not forget the old Barenaked Circus or how could I forget The Hives? And of course there's Area: two.
Oh me. Oh my.

Date: 2002-05-17 09:36 pm (UTC)Radio Birdman are a classic Aussie band from the... 70s? 60s? Still well respected in alternative circles.
Grinspoon are a contemporary band from Perth (I think), and they're pretty good. I haven't seen them myself, but I've heard that their shows are quite high-energy.
But yeah, that's not exactly heaps, is it? I guess bands prefer to tour in the summer.

Date: 2002-05-17 02:59 pm (UTC)In their biggest, most up-to-date "Killer App" product, they have one teensy tiny little hole, that any backwater rebel with a firey tennis ball can use to blow the whole fucking thing up.
And then, they come out with a New, Big-Assed "Killer App", ahead of schedule, before it's ready, and it has the same fucking hole only this time, you can FLY THE MILLENIUM FALCON INTO IT! And STILL blow it up!
Buh ... buh....
