It's a step sequencer for the Gameboy using that smooth, smooth vintage FM Synthesis sound. It's really popular in the IDM/Electronic scene for the super nerdy über-digital sound it has.Yeah, those sounds are vintage I guess. Or at least classic, in car terms I think it's a classic after 20 years. And the Gameboy sounds like Atari which is older than that..
Anyhoot, here's an idea of the sound I'm talking about.
