Spent most of today cooking and cleaning/packing. Discoveries and revelations that have been made today:
  1. I have a lot of crap to get rid of.
  2. Hopefully I can make a load of dosh selling it on eBay™. Actually there's a fair amount of software from OEMs that'll likely get busted on eBay™. I should try and sell this broken AMD Duron as some sort of broach.. hot glue a pin backing onto it and bingo computer nerd folk art.
  3. I can finally let go of the double density disks I've been keeping since my 286. I really don't know why I still have them. Although I did find a copy of AOL 2.5 sealed in the package.. apparently some people are into that sorta thing. Whatever floats yer boat..
Made Alaskan (as opposed to Jackson?) Pollock with a umm.. mulch.. of baby spinach and fiddle heads with more eastern spices and a yam side. It was really quick and violently healthy, probably enough iron to conduct a weak current through. Note for future interpretations: less cumin and paprika. It was a tad spice-eh!

So I'm thinking if I can't extort people on eBay I'd best have a yard sale. Thing is I'm always busy or sleeping during primo yard sale hours. Hrrrmmph.

Fuck, so much junk! Oh, and I'm playing some big beat classics tongiht. Tune in

Yes, You can sell OEM software on eBay as long as you have all the orginal materials -- manual, CD-ROM, or floppy disc. I have done this several times in the past. By all means, do it anyway.

What eBay really frown is sale of pirated softwares, that is all.a

FSCK!! I KNEW someone would usurp my new and unusual hobby!

I've been collecting AOL Disks since they were distributed on a single floppy. My pride and joy is the one AOL CD where the data is aligned just right on the platter to make big holographic AOL symbols. To this day I've not seen another. You have to admit though, the AOL CDs are keeping some graphic artist in a job... and it's a free hobby!

So, I guess I shouldn't have thrown all of those away then? Grumbling to myself.
