After a long walk

An enjoyable weekend. Dave's (cub4bear) Singing Out concert was really great, especially liked when the lesbian's all ducked together in the chorus of "It's Raining Men". Teased my gentlemanly sensibilities hanging at the Eagle after, but the vibe was still friendly and fun.

I'm thinking of ways to better focus my energy during the work week. This has a lot to do with my changing commitments to viola as the school year ends and I re-prioritize. I'm pretty sure priority #1 is making money towards the ultimate end of helping my viola playing by getting a new instrument.

But this isn't anything new I'm saying.

Just think of the kinds of jobs available to people who can't/don't teach viola (or do something else they have a passion for.

Waiter? Gas station attendant? Movie theatre usher? Retail drone? Fry cook?

Yeah, just think of those "other" jobs and you'll "refocus" plenty.
