Hey! Redd Kross were the original innovators. Those kids were writing songs about Linda Blair as a teenage runaway in "Born Innocent" before the White Stripes were born... or something like that. Besides, they brought Jan Terri to the web... That makes them almost saints!

I recall liking Redd Kross many years ago, but I can't actually remember any of their songs. Except for "Love Spreads", of course, which was cool because we need more songs about Jesus being a black woman.
