Last night was neat. My Uncle Marcus and Aunt Deb who I don't see often at all, but are very fond of, came for dinner which I made. On the menu:
  • Mango, Peanut, Ginger, Eggplant and Soy meat alternative
  • Portabella, feta and hummus bruschetta
  • Snow Pea, Collard and bean sprout stir-fry
  • Minted Iced Green Tea
I really like cooking exotically with a lot of eclecticism. Mostly because I can't be bothered to learn to cook Thai or East Indian really well so I just take what I know and run with it.

After dinner I talked classical music shop with Marcus and played some of my pieces for him. I thought I sounded like crap but he was really impressed. But that's what always happens when you really care about something, you become very critical.

I'm glad people liked the Bowie broadcast last night. It's still playing so you can tune in. The playlist is 4hrs long with some VAST in it too. We're on late-80s Bowie right now.

Lately at night I've been taking pictures with my old Sony Mavica digital camera. Trying to really work within it's limitations. It has no zoom, no view finder other than the LCD (frustrating!), takes 640x480 JPEGs. Although it does have a macro, flash and minor exposure adjustment. So the pictures are coming out really angular and clinical.. really banal and mundane. So I picked similar subject matter. Namely my basement. I liked 'em.

That is all.
