stupid deciding to be realistic with my thoughts on the next big thing in popular music. grr. whatever it's gonna be, it's gonna suck, because i don't think anybody's going to be able to do what stone temple pilots, pearl jam and jimi hendrix did for music. smashing pumpkins did a lot, don't get me wrong, but you can really hear the stp and pj influences on today's 'musicians'. and, well, jimi is just jimi. there will never be another jimi.

Yeah, post modern was leading for a while. I had faith in the human race for a second. I feel more than anything 9/11 was an excercise in reality television. A well televised tragedy for a bored nation of artistocrats living off the backs of the third world.

But who am I to say? I'm just another one, really.

Yes 9/11 was bad. People died. It was horrible.

NOW GET OVER IT.

Much worse things have happened throughout history. I wish people would stop watching the fucking Today show and realize there's a world outside the United States.
